CSERI Fellowship 2021/22 at the University of Pennsylvania, The Center for the Study of Ethnicity, Race, and Immigration (CSERI) has opened the application process for a one-year postdoctoral research fellowship in social sciences (including possible renewal for the second year) from October 12, 2020.
CSERI is a central initiative supported by the University of Pennsylvania and the School of Arts and Sciences. In addition to these post-doctoral fellowships, CSERI invites visiting scholars and organizes workshops for undergraduate students.
The CSERI Postdoctoral Research Fellows of 2021-2022 will ensure the organization and participation of leading / participating workshops for undergraduate students, assist in assessing the progress of undergraduate and postgraduate research grants, and assist CSERI faculty members in research projects. However, this Fellow will have the opportunity to conduct his own research as well as participate more broadly in the intellectual pursuits of the Penn Scholars community. There is no obligation to provide compulsory education at this time, but there is an obligation to stay in a post-doc state. The program evaluates research, collaboration and collaboration in various internal knowledge disciplines, committed to becoming known as a culturally diverse intellectual community.
Stipend for Post Doctoral Fellowship $ 53,000 related fees and individual health insurance.
This position provides 25,000 in research assistance, including the opportunity to apply for additional funding
CSERI Fellowship, University of Pennsylvania, USA Eligibility of application:
Applications are only being accepted from those who have done their PhD in social sciences or have an equivalent degree in the last two years (not before 2019), or who expect to complete their degree by July 2021.
Special skills are essential but not recommended for basic statistical analysis, qualitative software, GIS, experimental and other methods.

The title and description of the proposed study – no more than 1,500 words.
CV – Demonstrate experience with both qualitative and quantitative research, experience with qualitative and statistical research software (e.g. R, Stata, Atlas / TI, Deduz, etc.).
List other fellowships, funds and scholarships received and all research and publications. A sample essay – a part of an article or a book or research chapter (within 25 pages).
Confidential Letter Recommendation (two) – The referee should both be asked to comment on your proposed project and discuss your qualifications and experience as a researcher.
A constructive review of the applications will begin as soon as the submission deadline expires, and final notifications are expected to be published by February 26, 2021. The first date for the appointment of Post Doctoral Research Fellow is negotiable but should be effective after August 15, 2021.
